Enough was enough!

Life in the Galactic Empire was no good; Ashelle simply did not fit.  And so, the enterprising space princess has decided to run away from home. -To hide on a distant world far from the political intrigues of her family and the military might of the Empire.  On a beautiful *blue* planet.

Fitting in, however, isn't as easy as it looks, not even on a planet with dandelion flowers and shirts with pictures right on their very fronts.

And the arms of the Galactic Empire are long. . .

Acclaimed Canadian cartoonist, Mark Oakley tells an inspiring tale of traveling away from home.

"Anne of Green Gables from Space!"

Another intriguing work from Mark Oakley, Wolfvilles master graphic novelist, one of the last remaining undiscovered treasures of the comic art world, beautiful use of perspective to infuse a wonderful sense of energy and novelty to the scenes of Earth seen from the eyes of an alien, and that great sense of sharing, how we all discover earth as aliens and strangers Read it soon and go to ibox site for more Jim ruddy

As always, this is a very entertaining comic from Mark Oakley. The world he creates get more intriguing the farther you delve into the stories of his lovable characters. Although he tends to go off in tangents easily, it's speaks for Mark's seemingly intuitive writing style that often feels like your taking a ride with him through his imagination, and often even the author is not completely sure where it will take us. His meaningful thoughts on the world and social structures are also quite evident throughout the stories, without ever feeling like your being preached at or it feeling too pretentious. If you like this, also check out his "Thieves and Kings" which I personally like the best of his stories!
  • Star Drop is good comics

    From Campbell551
In a world where the superhero comic have become synonymous with the medium, Mark Oakley as a creator, is a shining example of what can be done outside of that genre. Star Drop is a well written and brilliantly illustrated comic for those that love the medium.
